The Good News and the Bad News

Many of you have noticed and commented on my baby ticker that I added to our blog. We went for an ultrasound today to date the pregnancy since we weren't sure on the due date. The good news is that we saw the little heartbeat and everything looked great. The bad news is they pushed my due date back 10 days. I'm now due on December 12th. The really sad part of this is that I wore maternity pants a couple of weeks ago when I was actually only 6 weeks pregnant. Can you say loser? Yeah, I know.

your baby is so cute. It is always amazing that you can see it so early on. I had to wear maternity pants that early with all my others after Tyler. So if you are a loser so am I...and I bet a lot of other people are as well!! :)

I feel you pain. Before I even realized I was pregnant with Heidi I noticed my pants didn't fit and I thought I looked pregnant. It was a relief to realize I looked pregnant for a reason!

Hey, I think lots of people would want to look as good as you do, maternity pants or not.

I always wear my maternity pants way before I need to - it's a combination of excitement over the pregnancy and eating everything in sight, because hey, I'm pregnant! Congratulations on your great news! Hooray for baby Holmes!

I love maternity pants. The shirts are great too, 'cause you don't have to worry about your butt hangin' out!! I hate short shirts. With kids, you're always bending and stretching and I hate having to adjust my shirts around, so as not to flash old men. ha ha.

Oh, that makes me feel so much better! I have been wearing maternity pants since week six too. Sean keeps rubbing my belly and saying "hi baby." And I am like "that's fat. The baby is the size of a walnut and it is inside my pelvis. You are rubbing my Super Size #1 with extra mayo." To make it worse, I just read in my pregnancy book that at week 14 "you may want to try on some maternity clothes now." Yeah, thanks, I obviously won't be reading that book of lies anymore.

So cruel to push back the due date!! I pretty much always pulled out the maternity pants the same day I took the test. At least you waited six weeks.

Congratulations! We are soo happy for you! We'll definately have to keep a closer eye on your blog now, now that you are expecting another baby Holmes. Don't worry about wearing the maternity pants-there just so dang comfortable!

I think I started wearing maternity pants in the very beginning, like probably 4 weeks, and I just continued to get bigger and bigger with my more than 50 lb weight gain.
